What Causes Discomfort In The Fibula After An Injury?
I experienced a ski injury 16 weeks ago including acl and mcl tear and non displaced fibular head fx. 11 weeks ago had hamstring tendon graft repair of acl. With closed chain strengthening i.e. Leg press I experience discomfort at the fibular head. Is it typical to experience strain this far out?
As a first line of management you can take analgesics like ibuprofen or diclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms are severe you might require an MRI scan for further assessment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
