What Causes Discomfort In The Knees While Bending?
My knees will lock up while in the bent position. Very painful and difficult to straighten, which causes a popping in the knee pain remains for several minutes, then goes away until it happens again. This is happening in both knees, and only started about 4 months ago

I really appreciate your concern, knee is very fragile joint, get hurts easily, even may infected, what the history is given here could be suggestive of arthritis knee condition, confirmation is needed and for that MRI of both knee joint is must, till then it can be managed with NSAID like Tab Diclofenac 50 mg once in day, steroid can be tried, but it has to be given under medical supervision once the arthritis confirmed hope this information helps.
