Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I got a bruise on my left forearm 8 days ago with a possible bug bite in the middle of the bruise. I then had a pain in 1 spot behind the left shoulder blade that lasted for 2 days that seemed like a sports injury from lifting. Then I had pain from swelling in my left hand that started 6 days ago. Although that has subsided it moved up to the left wrist which limited range of motion due to swelling. Now I have slight discomfort in my left knee and down to left foot. I have been applying ice and taking occasional Tylenol. I had a slight heart attack 6 months ago and on Plavix, beta blocker and baby aspirin. I am feeling well and got great report from my cardiologist 1 month ago. Do I need to see a doctor?
Your symptoms seem to be related to knee pain due to the overuse. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I recommend cold compresses for relieve. I also recommend to maintain the area immobilized and avoid activities that can trigger the symptoms.
