General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Discomfort in the throat & a feel like something is stuck commonly occurs due to medical conditions like GERD, acid reflux, stomach ulcer, globus pharyngis, etc. You can continue to take Prioslec. If needed you can take antacids or PPI's for relieve.

You are suggested to get physically examined so that the pathology causing the discomfort is detected & are treated. However, you should take food slowly, chew properly, cut on smoking & avoid food like broccoli, cabbage, beans & dairy products to avoid burping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
