What Causes Discomfort In Tongue And Mouth After Tooth Extraction?

Several months ago, I had my last upper teeth pulled (#'s 5 thru 13) and ever since, strange things have been going on. I feel with my tongue braided strands, which can either seem to be made of thread and/or elastic-type structure. There are also small discs that feel like (i.e., what I picture as,) sanding wheels for a circular saw. Even though my gum seems to be sealed and I cannot see anthing, I feel as though they are directly on my tongue. The other day, I was "winding" (as in how one might pull taffy and "wind" in around one's finger,) literally yards of this braid with these discs and other small items, (that I felt to have pushed out of little pockets in my gum and swallowed previously,) out of what I can only describe as an empty vein-like tube. My tongue literally felt squished from the material winding around it, but as I was looking in the mirror, I could see that my tongue was just fine and I was just wagging it back and forth along my gums.
These and other things have been going on and I feel like I'm crazy, but I know I am not. Parasites? Some brain issue? PLEASE HELP ME!!! I feel like I can't stand it anymore. If I ignore them, they just start positioning themselves in places where I have to deal with them because they are uncomfortable and sometimes hurt.
