General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Based on the history you have shared, if you are having discomfort on left side of chest, may need cardiac work up specially with history of lipid profile disturbances. A baseline EKG as well as cardiac enzymes should be done. If unremarkable, an echocardiogram may also be needed. If pain is below the ribcage then ultrasound abdomen may be needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
