What Causes Discomfort On The Left Side Of The Face?

hi, for a few weeks now on the left side of my face near the nose but not on my nose when I touch the area I feel some discomfort, almost as if I was punched in the face and the feeling of the bruise. only i have not been hit or had any type of injury

Thanks for the query..

Discomfort on left side of face along with tenderness on touching can be due to causes like muscle injury, sinus related problems or sinusitis, deep gum or tooth infection etc..

So my suggestion is to consult an Emergency room or an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigation like x ray can be done for ruling out the exact cause of discomfort..

For now you can do alternate warm and cool compresses over the area and along with it you can take pain relievers like Advil if pain is annoying otherwise not..
