What Causes Discomfort On The Roof Of Mouth?

I am having some discomfort in the top far back of my mouth. Initially, I though may have been from food that was too hot on which I had on Thurs. However the irritation has continued as of today. When I reach with my tongue to the area in the back of my mouth, my tongue seems to soothe the area.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain if you have a cracked tooth then it can lead irritation of nerve present at the center of tooth and nerve irritation can cause severe pain..

I would suggest you to consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like x ray can help in diagnosis and treatment will be done accordingly..

You can be advised root canal treatment of the tooth and in case if the crack is vertical then extraction can be advised..
But first of all an x ray is mandatory..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
