What Causes Discomfort On The Side Of Face Under Jawline?

Hello! I ve had a slight discomfort on my right side side of mt face just under my jawline. today is the first day I was able to find the exact spot with my fingers and it feels like a small marble that moves. It s not too painful but it does hurt and I m even more concerned. I went to the doctors a week ago and my doctor found nothing. What could this be and should I go to the ER?

As per your complain it seems that discomfort on right side of face under the jawline along with a mild tender marble that moves seems to be a swollen and inflamed lymph node..
It can occur due to infection in head and neck region or oro-pharyngeal region and leads to swollen lymph nodes..
As it is the first day, therefore you need not to worry as it can be acute symptoms and will resolve soon..
As of now you can take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen and also do cool compresses over the lymph nodes..
In case of no improvement or if symptoms exaggerate consult an ENT expert and get evaluated..
