Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I woke up this morning feeling disoriented. Almost like I was still drunk from a night of over drinking, but I hadn t had anything to drink. I woke up from a dream, and I don t usually dream, so I thought it was from that. But I ve felt this way all day. Just not right. I m otherwise healthy, with normal blood pressure whenever I get it checked
This could be due to an improper sleep position or if you were too tired or stressed out, even if you snore and don't get restful sleep. Sometimes this kind of symptoms occur when you are about fall sick Don't worry if this is a one time occurrence.
If it occurs frequently, I recommend -a physician consult to check for any neurological deficits - a sleep study -blood tests (complete blood count, lipid profile, sugar levels, thyroid tests, kidney and liver function) -a CT scan of the brain if required
If any new symptoms develop, get back to us. Hope this helps. Stay well hydrated and rested. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with. Wish you good health
