Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

The report supports a diagnosis of Hirschsprung's disease. If not responding to conservative treatment with laxatives, this might need surgical correction. But we need more clinical details (like his frequency of stools, presence of persistent vomiting, degree of weight gain etc) to decide whether surgery is needed or not. Kindly discuss with your pediatrician and pediatric surgeon.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
