What Causes Distended Gall Bladder?

i had mri they say i have distended gall bladder and said there was sludge i have lot of pain just below ribs and into back they are sending me to freeman hospital to see specialist they said they dontm know why my gall bladder is distended they are also lookin into my easophogos which they say has narrowed at stomach end and that is why i am vomiting

A distended gall bladder is a medical condition caused by acute cholecystitis, this happens when there is a stone obstruction in the gall bladder neck or cystic duct.
Fever, nausea, vomitting, jaundice and different coloured stools also result from acute cholecystitis.
