What Causes Distended Veins On The Wrists Post Intake Of Lortab?

... ok. Thank you. Yes. I just took 1/2 5/500 lortab for pain. I forgot to eat enough that it would not make me nauseous. Nausea and dry heaves. Once through that.. ugh... I noticed that the veins on the underside of my wrists are slightly distended. No pain there at all, just veins swollen. I wondered what would cause that?

Hi,

Lortab is having hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Neither of these drugs can cause any reaction to blood vessels. So I don't think your prominent veins are due to Lortab. If it is not painful or Itchy then no need to worry for these enlarged veins. It will definitely come to normal.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
