What Causes Disturbed Sleep After Taking Nuhenz?

Hi I am a 27 yrs old female suffering from androgenic aloepacia for last 6 yrs and treatment recommended medicines (1) Zipsydon and (2) Rexipra. Very recently, a month ago, I fainted for the first time in the moring in my Office. There was a darkness before my eyes and I was unconcious for couple of seconds and fell down. Luckily there was no injury. Later it happened last two weeks for two times in the morning. I approached my Doctor he suggested for EEG of brain and a S.TSH test. Both resulted normal still he has recommended a medicine Nuhenz in addition to my earlier medicines. I took for the first time yesterday and finding difficulty in getting sleep. I had no proper sleep in the night so could not get in the morning, feeling dull and drowsy. Should I continue with the Nuhenz?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

High levels of FSH and LH indicates problem in production and maturation of follicles in ovary. That is the cause of your irregular periods-sterility.

In this context you would need detailed study of female sex hormones / thyroid function test and see the background of faulty ovarian function to find out answer to the problem. I would suggest consultation of an endocrinologist first and and then a gynecologist, both of them to work together for this issue.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
