I recently hit the front of my head with a cabinet door, now I have had some issues if I get up to fast or even if I roll over in bed too fast I seem to get dizzy. Could it be a concussion, I didn't hit my head that hard but these symptoms along with seeming more tired than usual appeared after hitting my head, I have a small bump and it is tender to touch
Yes, the loss of balance can definitely be related to the trauma that you experienced.
There are certain criteria that are used to determine if a person needs CT imaging after head trauma. One of these is the new orleans criteria.Only one of the criteria need to be present for a CT to be needed.
Two of these are headache and visible sign of trauma above the clavicle.
Though the CT is normal in most cases, it is best to be seen.
I hope this helps
