Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My husband has had a small stroke in the past. He never knew when it occurred, but most likely during a surgery. His MRI shows that the artery to his cerebellum is 100% clogged. He has also had double by-pass. Recently, he has had random dizzy attack, which only last a few seconds. Could this be an indicator of an upcoming stroke?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The spells of dizziness you have could be due to insufficient blood supply to cerebellum, which is responsible for maintenance of balance. You should consult your treating physician and get deeply investigated/treated specifically (medicines or surgical).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
