What Causes Dizziness After An Open Heart Surgery?

Hi I am a 58 year old guy who had open heart surgery on Aug 16th this year. I had my aortic root replaced and valve. I am 10 weeks post op and my only issue is that every 4-7 days I get light headed and dizzy. They put a monitor back on me for three week and they say my heart is not the issue. I feel really good except for this and the dizziness only lasts for 20-30 seconds. Any ideas? Drue PS I had no other health issues going inot the heart surgery

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the current presentation suggests fine imbalance at some of the conductive pathways of brain areas due to variety of possible conditions. In our clinic, I recommend vital parameters evaluation with a work up to know whether any current drug is responsible for the same or not.

Wish this information will help you. Do feel free to ask further doubts.
