What Causes Dizziness After Appendix Surgery?
Hi! My son is 11 and had 2surgerys in June,first appendix and 2weeks after he got a bowel obstruction so had another surgery.he is complaining lately with dizziness when he is in bed and saying his tummy is sore.maybe he just overdid thing yesterday but I would worry about the dizziness???

The symptoms seem to be related to the surgery.
The dizziness begins within 12 to 24 hours after surgery and can last a week or longer.
It may be caused by a loss of spinal fluid that occurs when the anesthetic is injected.
The symptoms will go away on its own in a few days.
