What Causes Dizziness After Increasing The Dosage Of Nadolol?
Hello,I m taking 40mg of Nadolol increased from 20 mg as of the 25 of Nov. I m having waves of dizziness. I m diabetic, have Copd, and non alcoholic cirrhosis . I m being treated for a fast heart rate and swollen vein in my esophagus. I wonder if this is normal? The dizziness isn t severe but annoying and I feel safer sitting down. Thank you so much.
Tab nadolol is not indicated in Copd. These . drugs retain fluids and cause vasospasm. It causes postural hypotention that has caused dizziness. You may request your doctor to change as it does not suit you. If i have to treat such a patient i will advice tab sorbiterate instead of tab nadolol. Tab sorbiterate is safe in copd.
