Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a UTI for two years and have been treated with numerous antibiotics. The UTIi never was cleared up and my doctor has stopped treating it - doesn t even take a urine sample. Two years ago I started to have severe problems with dizziness coming and going. The length between bouts and severity have increased so it is now continuous. I have seen 8 different types of people to try to remedy this from ENT s, chiropractors, done vestibular therapy, etc. and have gotten no relief. Could they be related?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
It is not likely that the repeated UTIs are related to your current dizziness but if they are still continuing, they need treatment so you may need to see someone else. A neurologist may be helpful in dealing with the dizziness.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
