What Causes Dizziness After Taking Duloxetine 60 Mg?
I suffer from chronic back and leg pain and numbness tingling , My doc put me on Duloxitine 60 mg, I have some depression.........not suisideale.......Started taking it on 10/24........11/01 and Very light headed head spinning, But my chronic Pain has calmed down though, with researching side effects maybe half that dose from 60mg to 30mg would eleaviate my dizziness ??
Dizziness is a very common side effect of duloxetine. 60 mg is minimum effective dose of duloxetine. Dose below 30 mg might not be effective in relieving pain. You can take 60 mg duloxetine divided doses. Advice 1. Duloxetine 30 mg every 12 hours per oral 2. Even if you do not get relief by above measure then you can take Cinnarizine 25 mg per oral if dizziness is intolerable. Otherwise avoid it 3. There are other medicines for treatment of depression (fluoxetine) and neural pain such as (gabapentine). These are relatively safer medicines in terms of side effect profile. You can discuss about these medicines with your doctor I hope this information will help you. I will be happy if you ask another question Thanks
