What Causes Dizziness After Taking Lamotrigine And Glycopyrrolate?

Hi! Do any of the following meds react poorly when out in the sunshine - gabapentin, avorvastatin, lamotrigine, pantoprazole, amlodipine besylate, clopidogrel bisulfate, glycopyrrolate, lisinopril or melatonin? My husband takes these meds and seems to get dizzy when out in the sun. Thank you in advance for your response.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It is the CNS depressant effect of glycol pyrrolate responsible for the dizziness and the same should be withheld from further consumption after discussion with his doc.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
