What Causes Dizziness After Taking Mirtazapine?

I am experiences great dizziness (vertigo) especially after taking my nighttime medications, mirtazipine (45 mg) and quetiapine (50 mg) and lorazepam (1 mg). I have been taking these meds all along since last fall at higher doses. I had vertigo at night before bedtime, during the night if I rolled over in bed and in the morning upon rising. The symptom went away during the day. I also take lisinopril 10 mg tab in the morning and also Gabapentin (100 mg tab) 3 x a day and pravastatun sodium 20 mg at bedtime. The morning dizziness has reduced, but when I take the mirtazapine and quetiapine at night, I have to get in bed right away. If I try to get out of bed, my head spins so much, I don t even try. I got scarred last night when I tried to get up. I just laid back down and prayed to go to sleep. It took awhile. My Psychiatrist MD has been helping me reduce quetiapine, mirtazipine along with lorazepam (1mg at bedtime) since I got home from the hospital the end of Feb. I am overweight (I put on a lot of weight in the hospital because the only thing to do was eat and attend some groups they had). I haven t had energy or desire to exercise, so I put a some more weight since I got home. I don t know which doctor to call about the dizziness problem. I thought it was getting better, but the last two nights have been a bit nerve wracking. Do I call my primary care doctor (lisinopril, gabapentin & Pravistatin) or my psychiatrist (lorazepam, mirtazapine & quetiapine)? What s the likely source of this dizziness?
