Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I had a wisdom tooth extraction 9days ago and been in pain ever since but taking ibuprofen and paracetamol has helped I ve taken them as advised on the packaging. I m now feeling really dizzy and worry when I lay down from doing something it feels like everything is spinning including my brain. Why could this be?
Hi, I read your concerns. Thank you for sharing them on HCM!
I think that dizziness may be due to your sympatic system response from the effect of adrenaline and the anestetic used to do the extraction of the tooth. Your body might be more sensitive from these drugs than the other people. You might have been anxious during the procedure too. Anyway i wouldn't be that worried about this issue. I strongly believe these symptoms will go away. Just relax and rinse your mouth with normal saline solution. I hope you find helpful my answer. All the best for you!
