Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m light headed, feel like I m going to faint( but don t), off balance, have blurred vision, sensitive to bright light, and have a tingling sensation in the left side of my neck, and I have ringing in my ears. My doctor said that it was vertigo,(that was a year ago). The symptoms have gotten worse like it happens all the time now.
Vertigo is a condition which is caused mostly by an inner ear problem. The symptoms are dizziness, headache, spinning, nausea, vomiting, sweating etc. If the symptoms have remained the same over a period, then you need to be treated by an ENT specialist. They may prescribe physical treatments like rehabilitation; medicines to treat the symptoms of headache etc. Antibiotics may be given to treat any underlying infection. If this doesnt work, then maybe surgery might be required.
Hope this helps!
