TSH is 4.050, hba1c is 5.48 which is normal said by my doctor. I went to eye doctor and they prescribed me new spectacles which I am using for last 2 week, some times I feel pressure on my eyes with new spectacles. After all above, my dizziness and sometimes headache till there for last 6 months, Is it due to eye power change or others issues ?can please suggest possible remedy?? Thanks Siddhartha

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Dizziness can have different possible causes. It is most commonly related to the inner ear. Inner ear conditions are: Meniere's disease, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, vestibular neuronitis.

It can also be related to conditions of the brain stem or related to migraines.

The MRI would have shown if there were any issues related to the brain stem, so it is likely that this is normal.

With a history of headaches occurring along with the dizziness, it is possible that you have vestibular migraines or the classical type of migraine.

You should consider a repeat assessment by a neurologist for a second opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
