Thank you for trusting us with your query.
Am sorry that you are going through this.
would you clarify a few points for me?
1) how old are you? are you overweight?
2) do you have any medical issues? (
thyroid problems,
heart disease,
varicose veins,
diabetes,
hypertension, high cholesterol?
3) have you ever smoked?
4) are you on any medications including birth control pills?
5) do you have any swelling or water retention in your body? do your calves hurt when you squeeze them?
Depending on the answers to the above, I would like to rule out any embolic events( blood gets too thick or stagnates in certain areas and then forms clots which can be pushed into the circulation and get stuck in the blood supply of an end organ like a lung or heart or brain) and lead to
stroke or heart attacks.
I recommend you see your physician immediately or go to the ER.
Any
chest pain associated with giddiness needs to be investigated ASAP.
Hypochondriacs usually don't hesitate to talk of their symptoms, they would normally exaggerate it and try to seek help or attention. I advise you to trust your instincts as, hypochondriac or not, only you can and should take responsibility for your life and health. If they refuse to atleast check you out, insist.
Make them listen.
hope this helps and you feel better
wish you good health
