What Causes Dizziness Along With Nausea After A Hair Wash?
This morning I had to wash my hair in the kitchen sink because our pipes were frozen, so I had to heat water on the stove. It didn t take me more than 10 minutes to finish. Once I was done, I got very dizzy. I felt nauseous, got the sweats and had to sit down. I have been laying down most of the day. The dizziness has subsided quite a bit, but I feel a fullness in my head. I feel its an inner ear problem. My right ear feels clogged. Is there anything I can take to help with this?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
From what you had mentioned, is look like you have some wax in your ears. Generally, after taking a wash if water enters the air, it swells the wax which can make a person feel like you are feeling. However, other causes should also be not overlooked like BP recording and pulse in such condition. Please consult an ENT specialist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman
