Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
A headache with nausea like symptoms can raise suspicious towards a Migraine.
Provide history regarding whether the pain is unilateral and throbbing nature? If yes, then it can be a migraine and for that Ibuprofen can be prescribed. If it does not help, then Rizatriptan drug can be prescribed.
A tension headache also should be ruled out if constant work on the computer and if stress history present. Ear infection also can lead such a presentation so rule it out.
So this possibility can be ruled out by physical examination and history. Consult the physician for examination.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Parth Goswami
