Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
For which purpose you have undergone surgery? Is it intracranial bleeding or infraction with craniectomy or cerebellar abscess?
In case of infarction or bleed, it may take few weeks or months to recover from weakness. It would be difficult to improve your brain function optimally but you may improve brain activities up to 80%.
Imbalance you are facing, may be due to cerebellum involvement so you can practice balancing exercise, physiotherapy etc.
Please continue neuroprotective medication, control blood pressure, eat green leafy vegetables.
If symptoms not improved please consult your neurophysician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Take care.
