What Causes Dizziness And Absentmindedness After Taking Amoxicillin?

I am taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection and ear pain. Been on it for 4 days. Feeling better sinus and ear, but pills make me feel weird. Kind of dizzy and spacey. Can I stop taking after 7 days? It is a 10 day script, but I really don't think I want to take them that long. I hate the feeling.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain the symptoms of dizziness and absentmindedness after taking antibiotic amoxicillin seems to be a side effect of Amoxicillin and you need to consult your treating physician immediately and he can change the antibiotic with some other antibiotics..
You need not to continue it for 7 days and immediate change of medication is needed..
Gradually as the effect of antibotic amoxicillin will subside you will start feeling better..
As of now you should avoid driving and going out alone as well as operating any machinery to prevent accidental incidents due to dizziness..
