Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, I was just popping a query online and came across this. But for the last couple of days I ve had intermittent dizziness .... I ve still gone to school (teacher) and in between I m fine. I do have a bit of dizziness now and I ve also just smelled onions, none in house. Weird. I had my blood pressure done yesterday evening and it was 127/78 so seems ok. Any ideas?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of dizziness and altered sense of smell. The symptoms you mention in query occurring due to nerve disturbance. It seems that there is degeneration of nerve endings. The symptoms can also occur due to condition like sinusitis , allergy or upper respiratory track infection. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination and to rule out other causes . Doctor may prescribe medicine to strengthen the nervous system like neurobion forte along with other medicine like antibiotics to cure the infection. Taking steam will be very helpful. Apply warm compresses on nose and drink warm water with half spoon of honey . Avoid touching or pricking it .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
