What Causes Dizziness And Bloody Diarrhea?
Three days ago I was very dizzy and unable to even walk. Then I developed diarrhea that was black and bloody. Although the dizziness has pretty much stopped, I can barley move from room to room without my heart pounding and having a hard time catching my breath until I sit still for a bit. It then feels like the inside of my body is ice and then my right fingertips go numb. It has subsided somewhat but all still happening. What s going on?

Below work-up should be done:
-physical examination
-Auscultation for heart and respiratory sound
-CBC
-Stool routine micro examination
-Stool occult blood test
-Stool culture if needed
-EKG
If there is blood in stool or if stool report suggests Dysentery, then an antibiotic drug according to the type of dysentery should be given.
If organism or parasite not isolated, then piles ruled out by local rectal examination. Check calcium, sodium and potassium report as well.
Maintain hydration with lots of water and consult a nearby physician for examination and accordingly further investigation.
