What Causes Dizziness And Blurred Vision After Receiving TPI On The Back?

I had trigger point injections in my back with sedation on Friday (five days ago). Since then I have been dizzy, unfocused, visually unclear and narrowed, lethargic, uncoordinated with some mild headaches. I generally feel awful, very droopy. Can you have a reaction to steroid shots or the versed/fentynyl sedation combo? I had a series of three shots in 2011. Friday was my second shot in a series of three. Never had a problem before.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Trigger point injections may cause high fever (above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit), have increased pain, swelling or tenderness, or develop a skin irritation, increased redness, or warmth, burning or itching around the injection site.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
