Hi there ,My father was affected with dizziness some two years back after that he took vertin 8 mg for upto 2 months .and the problem was solved .but now after 2 yrs he is getting a LIGHT symptom of losing imbalance....I am sure that the problem is with tge inner ear.because he will say that when he touches his ear ...his focus of eye will be alright. Shall i ask him to take vertin 8 mg now??

The loss of balance that your father is experiencing may be due to the inner ear pathology. But with age, there area no. of causes of loss of imbalance which included vitamin B12 deficiency, low blood pressure, heart irregularities, anemia, etc. Therefore if would be a good idea to get your father worked up by his physician. The physician will also be able to identify the progress of the inner ear pathology and increase the dose of Vertin if needed.
