Two weeks ago i went to my Dr beacause of an ongoing and reaccuring cough and chest infection. This time I had chronic bronchitis. I was given a breathing treatment and only cleared up slightly. I was also given a antibiotic shot before I left along with a prescription for an inhaler, cough medicine with codine, and another antibiotic. I ran out of the cough syrup and anitbiotic and was prescribed another antibiotic and another cough medicine. This weekend during a coughing episode I noticed that I would get lightheaded and start shaking uncontrolably till I could gain my composure (usually lasting less thatn a minute. I didn't think too much of it since I figured it was caused by not getting enough oxygen to my head during my attacks. Tonight I had another coughing attack and this time my wife witnessed it. I actually felt as if I blacked out momenterily and took forever for me to raise my head back up. As I was raising back up and coming back around< my wife noticed my uncontrolable shaking. I didn't realize it till I was back up. Could this just be from my coughing attacks and not getting enough oxygen to my head, or is there something else going on?
