What Causes Dizziness And Breathlessness While At A High Altitude Place?
Recent spells of dizziness while on vacation in high altitude, (9000). now continuing at home altitude of 4,500--shortness of breath also continuing. I m sure age is a factor (85 y.o.) but in good health, no meds, and still able to function normally. Any suggestions??

I understand your point. At high altitude there is oxygen saturation in air decreases so our body start acclimatization by which we can survive in those conditions. But when we come to lower altitude the process reversed. But it takes some time. Nothing to worry. He will be fine in few days. I think I answered your question. Wish you a good health.
