iI TAKE RISPERIDONE AND CONGENTIN FOR SCHIZOPHRENNIA, I FORMERLY TOOK DAPAKOTE, WHICH CAUSED MY HAIR TO FALL OUT ... NOW I TAKE PRENATAL VITAMINS TO HELP MY HAIR GROW BACK . I FREQUENTLY FEEL DIZZY AND CONSTIPATED AND I HAVE JOINT AND MUSCLE ACHES .. I ALSO HAVE INSULIN DEPENDANT SUGAR DIABETES. I AM GAINING WEIGHT AND OFTENTIMES HAVE TROUBLE STAYING AWAKE. IS THERE ANYTHING I CAN TAKE TO HELP ME STAY AWAKE ??? JANICE LOGAN YYYY@YYYY

Excessive sleepiness can happen while on risperidone. For constipation you can take laxatives like lactulose. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
