What Causes Dizziness And Double Vision?

I m hoping you can shed some insight. About one month ago I had a sudden onset of non stop spinning for about 12 hrs. later diagnosed with BPPV with nygstamus. about one hour ago I experienced what felt like a tightening of my left eye muscle and my vision being distorted, also felt like vision was bringing two pictures together if that makes sense. My husband had me follow his finger and said my left eye would bounce or skip for a second before it continued to follow his finger. What can this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

As per your history, it may be due to BPPV.

For that, you can take tablet betahistine after consultation. Do Epley maneuver regularly as advised.

Take proper rest. Avoid sudden neck movements. Avoid bright light and noise

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shyam B. Kale, General & Family Physician
