What Causes Dizziness And Elevated Blood Sugar Level?
Hi, my son is 41 and has type lol diabetes. He takes 2 - 500 mugs of meteor an 3 times a day. Right now he is having symptoms of clammy, dizziness, and is light headed. His blood sugar is at 260. What is going on and how can I help him. He ate 2 eggs and 2 slices of buttered toast.
Assuming that your son has type 2 diabetes and he is on metformin for the same. The sugar levels are increased and if he is experiencing any type of difficulty then its likely due to the blood sugar levels and it needs to be brought back to normal so visit ER as the doctors in ER will give him insulin shots to bring the levels to normal.
In type 2 diabetes, exercise plays a very crucial role to make sure, he does light exercise regularly like walking. He should all kinds of sweet food items that are responsible for rising the blood sugar levels. If in doubt. consult a dietician and follow the diet chart as there are certain fruits which should not be consumed by a diabetic person.
Management of diet and regular intake of medicines as per doctor’s advice is very important.
