Whenever I am in the sun for even a short period of time I get dizzy and have almost fainted several times. I also get beet red. I thought it might have to do with the meds I take which are Crestor and Amitriptylene. However when I research them it doesn t indicate that is one of the side effects.

Following measures will help you -Keep yourself well hydrated by intake of plenty of water.Cool plain water and Fluids with electrolytes are preferable. -Wear loose and light clothing with full sleeves. -Avoid going out if possible between 10am to 2pm when sunlight is maximum. -Always wear sunscreen lotion with spF more than 15.
