What Causes Dizziness And Fatigue While On Coumadin?
I’ve been on Coumadin for about 3weeks due to a DVT. I feel weak and tired and have some lightheadedness at times and dizzy also, a little stomach pains at times. Got my INR results today, it’s a 4.5. Doctor said to skip todays dose of Coumadin 5mg. and he will update me tomorrow. My question is: My symptoms a side effect of the Coumadin and will my blood being too thin make the symptoms worse ???

Coumadin drug usually won't cause giddiness unless you're allergic to this drug. Possibilities of decreased venous return lead to giddiness.
INR is high so you need to take the lower dose of Coumadin. Also, chances of bleed intracranial or intra-abdominal lead to giddiness.
Unless examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your doctor, he will examine and treat you accordingly.
