What Causes Dizziness And Fatigue While On Crestor?

I was on Crestor and have had a severe reaction (side effects). I have bee to an emergency room twice and the Urgent Care dealing with this matter. The conclusion after every test tested is side effects of Crestor. I can barely walk without fainting and my weakness is as debilitating as any pain I have ever had. All doctors have told me the side effects might last 2 1/2 months. Your opinion?

Crestor is composed of 'rosuvastatin', which belongs to a a group of drugs called HMG CoA reductase inhibitors, or "statins".
It reduces levels of "bad" cholesterol (low-density lipoprotein, or LDL) and triglycerides in the blood, while increasing levels of "good" cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein, or HDL).
Common side effects of use of Crestor include: myalgia (muscle ache) and asthenia (muscle weakness).
Such symptoms would last for few weeks to few months even after discontinuing the medication.
Kindly follow the advise as given by your doctor and do the necessary follow-up as suggested.
