Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
dizzy, headache. fasted today. about an hour ago, ate mixed nuts and a Lara Bar to break the fast. Warm shower, too. Still lightheaded. Cannot remember my last bowel movement....was it 4 days ago? ...not sure. I am away from home (often get constipated on the road)
Without glucose which is the solely source of energy to the brain it will makes your brain vasodilate therefore give you the symptom of dizziness and headache. Having Warm shower will make the headache even worse.
I would suggest you to drink a glass of water with some sugar in it or even a candy or chocolate.
Drink plenty of water and try to eat a lot before you fast.
As long as your bowel movement is good (Flatus) you are fine. You don't need to take a big one every day.
thank you.
