What Causes Dizziness And Headache After Taking Nitrofurantoin?
I had a UTI and was prescribed Nitrofurantoin-after taking three pils I was dizzy and had a terrible headache and my blood pressure was much higher than usual- I went to Urgent care and was switched to Cipro. I have completed the cipro am feeling better in terms of the infection, but am absolutely exhausted, Is this a normal side effect after 6 days of and biotics?

Hypertension is not a common side effect of nitrofurantoin while dizziness and headache are. Hypertension may not be related to it. Feeling fatigued may be related to taking antibiotics.
