What Causes Dizziness And Headache After Taking Pravastatin And Oxybutynin?
Just curiosity..I take provastatin for cholesterol and oxibutynin for overactive bladder. I find myself frequently dealing with dizziness and a nagging headache since I started taking both of them. I took the oxibutynin for a year before the cholesteral problem came up. Could there be a problem taking these two drugs?
There are no known interactions between these medications.
They are associated with potential side effects.
Oxybutynin is associated with potential headaches and dizziness in some persons. Side effects sometimes occur even though the medication has been used for a long time. It is also possible that there is another cause.
You should consider seeing your doctor for an assessment which would include physical examination, blood pressure, blood sugar. Additional blood tests like a complete blood count may also be needed.
I hope this helps
