What Causes Dizziness And High Blood Pressure After Taking Nitrofurantoin?
I am on my last day of antibiotics called Nitrofuratoin and today at work i got a little dizzy and my blood pressure was 140 over 100. I have never had blood pressure issues before. My pressures usually run around 117 over 78 could this be a side effect from the medication?

Nitrofurantoin does not cause dizziness and high BP. 140 mm Hg is not that much high and dizziness might be due to anxiety. It may be due to something else. As of now drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated.
