What Causes Dizziness And Insomnia After Discontinuation Of Beta Antagonists?

Hi there I ve got anxiety and I ve been taking beta blockers to help and it has helped started on 40 ml and now on 10ml but I stopped taking them about 3 weeks ago and getting side effects it feels like , lightheaded and little bit dizzy and can not sleep ?

I can understand your concern.
By your history and description, possibility of withdrawal symptoms due to betablocker stoppage is more.
You should not suddenly stop this drug.
You should start with 10mg and continue for 15-20 days. Then take it alternate day, then take it half tablet alternate day and gradually stop.
This whole process should be of 1-2 months long to prevent withdrawal symptoms.
So consult your doctor and discuss about starting this drug again and taper down as I have advised.
