What Causes Dizziness And Itchy Rashes On Arms And Abdomen?

Symptoms over a weeks time; rash on arms and abdomen(appears more like blood spots surfacing on the skin in large patches almost to the point of bruising, progressing to bumps on entire back this evening, with severe itching. Bloody stool for a week, off and on as well with some minor dizziness. Have been taking Dexilant for stomach problems for 1 month. Currently taking Claritin to determine if this is allergy related, and to decrease itching.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It could be an allergic eruption.
As first-line management, you can take an antihistamine like cetirizine for symptomatic relief.
If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
