What Causes Dizziness And Nausea After Being Exposed To Mold?

I am 68. 2 weeks ago went to see my doctor and BP was 128/78. About a week ago went to visit family member that had roof leak and you could smell the mold. It was a recently repaired but still had smell. We stayed there for 6 days. I got back home and 2 days later got dizzy (which I rarely do) and felt nausea. Took my BP and it was 162/80 with heart rate of 58. Can exposure to mold cause ones BP to sky rocket?

Hi,

Noted our history about having exposure to mold for 6 days, got dizziness and nausea after reaching home, high blood pressure, wants to know whether mold can cause this.
There are no known cases who have suffered like this.
Sine you were out of home, the other causes of dizziness and nausea should be looked for and investigated for.
Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation:
Since you have got dizziness, nad nausea you have to get a proper prescription based medications.
For this consult your Doctor for clinical evaluation, examination and proper investigations based on these findings
ENT Check up may also be needed.
Investigations of blood, MRI and so on would be advised on the basis of primary findings.
Once a proper diagnosis is made a specific treatment can be done well.
